Achilles UVDB
The Achilles UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database) is a prequalification system used by major UK utilities. It allows suppliers to demonstrate their capability to work with these utilities and provides a common system for selecting suppliers for regulated procurement procedures.
To participate in the UVDB, businesses must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire and may undergo an independent audit to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The process is designed to enhance supplier selection and streamline procurement for utilities in the UK.
